MANILA, Philippines - Gerald Anderson has denied rumors that he’s trying to win the young actress’ heart again after their alleged break-up last year.
“Hindi! Wow! Galing ‘no! Kasi kahit ano'ng sabihin ko last year na okay kami, ayaw maniwala ng tao,” Gerald said on “Showbiz News Ngayon,” Jan. 26.
He dispelled rumors that he and Kim are lovey-dovey again or that he's trying to win her back.
“ Wala akong ano sa ngayon... sa ngayon wala talaga.”
The actor wishes Kim the best in her career more so now that she seems to be comfortable showing her sexier side.
“Eh, seksi naman talaga siya, eh. Kumbaga, ‘yun ‘yong beauty niya, sexy...natural, so ‘yun. siyempre, para sa career namin ito, eh. Kung ako action, siya kung ‘yon ang gusto niyang pasukin, support naman ako... supportive naman ako,” he said.
Kim, on the other hand, is really enjoying her newest challenge as a guest co-host of “Showtime.” She was tapped to pinch hit for Anne Curtis who left for Korea to tape a few scenes for her upcoming soap opera with Jericho Rosales.
“Sabi nga lang nila mag-enjoy daw ako. Kung ano ako ‘yun lang ang ipapakita ko,” she said.
She does not feel pressured especially in the “Sampol” segment of the show where hosts and hurados are asked to display their talents.
“Hindi naman. Joke lang naman lahat... hindi seryoso,” she said.
The question now is, how long will Kim stay in the noontime game show?
“‘Pag wala si Anne ako muna ang papalit so masaya naman. Parang tawa lang nang tawa ako dito... hindi ko namamalayan na alas tres na pala. Second time kong mag-host sa 'Showtime' and masaya naman and ang sarap ng experience.”
Kim does not mind the demands of co-hosting “Showtime” because “may napapasaya naman akong ibang tao.”
