MANILA, Philippines – Celebrity couple Aga Muhlach and Charlene Gonzales maintains close ties with Fr. Tito Caluag, S.J., head of the 71 Dream Foundation which ABS-CBN put up for families of the victims of the ULTRA tragedy a few years back.
A report by journal.com said the couple often meet with Caluag whom they consider their spiritual counselor. The same report also stated that Caluag often officiates mass for the family.
Muhlach, who just recently transferred to TV5, attests to this saying, “Ang nakakatuwa we don’t have to tell Fr. Caluag. Basta dumarating siya dala ang mga paraphernalia needed kapag nagmimisa siya.”
To further strengthen their bond, the couple intimated that they aim to build a proper chapel in their farm in Batangas specifically for the use of the priest. No detail was provided as to when construction would start.
Apart from heading the 71 Dream Foundation, Caluag also serves as the chaplain
of the ABS CBN chapel. Caluag started his association with ABS-CBN in 2004 as co-host of the youth-oriented debate talk show, "Y-Speak."
He is an independent Board of Director of ABS-CBN, coordinator for public service integration, and co-anchor of DZMM’s Aksyon Ngayon Global Patrol, where he is regarded as the program’s “Padre Kapamilya.”
