Marikina City wants to set a new world record for the most number of boys taking part in a so-called "Tule (Circumcision) Party" on May 7.
The city government will hold the "Tule Party" on May 7 at the city sports complex where boys aged 12 and up will be circumcised for free, radio dzBB's Glen Juego reported.
City health officer Alberto Herrera said the activity will be held from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Herrera said qualified doctors using modern medical facilities will be tapped for the event.
The report said city officials are expecting some 1,500 boys aged 12 and up to participate in the event.
