MANILA, Philippines – Manny Pacquiao’s wife, Jinkee, looks forward to the possibility of her husband making a guest appearance on "Glee.”
“Pagdating ni Michael Koncz malalaman naming lahat. Nasa US pa siya, ‘yung adviser. O, at least makapunta kami doon at ma-meet namin sila,” Jinkee said on “Showbiz News Ngayon,” May 23.
The rumor of Manny’s possible guesting on “Glee” surfaced after one of its cast members, Darren Criss, expressed his wish to share a frame with the champion boxer in one of its episodes.
“I know Manny Pacquiao loves to sing. Probably he would want to guest star in ‘Glee’ when we have a boxing episode. He will knock me out in my part!” Criss said in a previous interview. Criss is a Fil-Am actor who plays the character of Blaine Anderson in the widely-followed series.
When asked about his “Glee" guesting, Manny quipped, “Hindi ko pa alam.”
“Glee” has international singer Charice Pempengco in a recurring role. In the show, she is Filipino exchange student Sunshine Corazon.
When not pinning hopes on American TV guestings, Jinkee focuses her attention on other things. For one, she is extremely happy during Gov. Chavit Singson’s victory party for Manny recently.
She also addressed Mommy Dionesia’s ardent wish for her son stop boxing.
