Just a thought: Our hearts are drunk with a beauty our eyes could never see. – George W. Russell
MANILA, Philippines -- Star News: Albie Casiño’s off-the-cuff remarks about Andi Eigenmann’s pregnancy are obviously stress-related.
The boy (he’s only 18), is possibly too strained and hurt by all the unkind words said of him in the past that he thought nothing of taking on a combative stance himself.
In the process, he came out ungentlemanly in his speech and behavior. There’s too much angst (angas?) in the boy when he could simply just say, while promoting the movie “Aswang,” he wished Andi well.
Albie could have just maintained his silence and remained a mystery until the baby’s paternity is established.
Sarah Lahbati, and not Jackie Rice, gets the lead role in GMA-7’s remake of the movie, “Kokak.”
Airing this November, the series casts the “Starstruck 5” Ultimate Female Survivor in the role of a girl who’s cursed to be a frog but who is transformed once again to be human by true love.
Sarah says she welcomed “Kokak” with a bit of hesitation. She has a fear of frogs.
Ironically, she will be acting with so many frogs in the new afternoon series directed by Ricky Davao.
“Kokak” is based on a popular komiks series created by Ruben Marcelino.
Its original movie version in 1989 starred Rachel Lobangco and Gabby Concepcion.
Sarah will partner with TJ Trinidad and JC Tiuseco in “Kokak.”
