At least one oil firm is rolling back the prices of its fuel products, including unleaded fuel and diesel, effective Sunday.
Flying V cited lower world prices of fuel as the reason for its rollback, which will take effect 12:01 a.m. Sunday, radio dwIZ reported.
The rollback involves P1 per liter for unleaded and premium gasoline; 70 centavos per liter for diesel; and P1.10 per liter for regular gas.
Only last Tuesday, oil firms made adjustments to the prices of their products, hiking prices of unleaded and premium gasoline and rolling back those of other products.
Last Tuesday's price adjustments rolled back prices of regular gas by 30 centavos per liter, diesel by 50 centavos, and kerosene by 40 centavos.
But at the time, the prices of unleaded and premium gas were raised by 30 centavos per liter.
The recent oil price hikes had prompted a series of protests by militant groups earlier this year. — LBG, GMA News
