Months after many of its scenes were filmed in the Philippines, the official full-length trailer for spy thriller movie "The Bourne Legacy" is finally out, with gritty Manila getting lots of exposure.
Several scenes in the two-and-a-half-minute trailer are likely to be familiar to Filipino viewers, including a residential area in Manila's Ermita and Sta. Mesa districts and a portion of Jones Bridge.
Even the unmistakably Filipino jeepneys—and shots of heavy traffic in parts of Manila—are featured in the action scenes of the trailer.
Many of the scenes featuring Manila can be seen after the one-minute mark. The movie premieres in the United States on August 3.
The trailer can be accessed via video sharing site YouTube.
Some scenes of "The Bourne Legacy" were shot in Palawan.
During the Manila shooting, several roads in Manila were closed to traffic to accommodate the film crew.
Many of the stars, including Jeremy Renner and Rachel Weisz, got superstar treatment during their stay in Manila, and lauded Filipinos for their hospitality.
"The Bourne Legacy" is the latest installment of the popular spy-thriller franchise that has earned almost $1 billion at the global box office.
Other stars in the movie include Edward Norton, Stacy Keach and Oscar Isaac, and franchise veterans Albert Finney, Joan Allen, David Strathairn and Scott Glenn.
