While Kim Chiu and Maja Salvador are yet to reconcile, their leading men in the series “Ina, Kapatid, Anak” – Xian Lim and Enchong Dee – also have their own issue to fix.
The two actors allegedly had a confrontation recently that stemmed from Xian supposedly rebuking Enchong’s personal assistant, who called the former’s attention over his fans visiting the “Ina, Kapatid, Anak” set.
Reports say fan visits are no longer allowed during taping so that the show’s cast and production crew could concentrate on work.
In an interview with Cinema News, Xian maintained that he’s not the type who scolds others.
“I think people should not exaggerate things,” he said, adding that neither he nor his fans have a problem with Enchong or his supporters.
The issue, he clarified, was “more of” everyone in the production.
His fans’ visit came as a surprise to him, yet he opted to entertain them since he thought it would be “impolite and inappropriate” to make them just leave.
“I guess people got offended, people got the idea that siguro... sumasaway ako sa rules and regulations… Sinabi ko rin sa production na sana ‘wag kayong magalit sa’kin kasi pinaglalaban ko lang naman 'yung mga supporters ko kasi sila pinaglalaban nila ako eh.”
The singer-actor admitted that he and Enchong had a misunderstanding – which he did not detail – though they remain on speaking terms.
“Hindi puwedeng hindi kami mag-uusap... Siyempre merong misunderstanding pero it’s not the way people think kasi open ako sa kanya eh.
I’m pretty sure he would be open din sa akin. Hindi siya ‘yung, ‘Hindi kami mag-uusap, dededmahin ko siya,’ walang ganun,” Xian explained.
