Kean Cipriano willing to do kissing scene with Vice Ganda

MANILA, Philippines - Singer-actor Kean Cipriano spent a huge part of Valentine’s Day with gay comedian-singer Vice Ganda, this he revealed during a recent press conference.

But before tongues even start wagging, the Callalily front-man cleared they were not alone.

"May show si Vice sa Metro Bar, tapos guest ako,” he told PEP.

Owing to the occasion, Cipriano said he gave Vice Ganda a “gift.”

"Binigyan ko siya ng flowers,” he said before quickly adding, “pero yung flowers na ibinigay ko sa kanya, kasama yung nagbebenta."

Cipriano said it is okay for him to joke about Vice Ganda even as he divulged that he and the rest of Callalily are close friends with the “Petrang Kabayo” star.

He related that their intimate familiarity with the comedian started a few years back when they did a bar tour with him. According to Cipriano the whole band enjoys the company of Vice Ganda and vice-versa.

“Masaya lang. Masaya kami na magkakasama kami,” he intimated.

Cipriano is "excited" that the fun they had with Vice Ganda will apparently continue in celluloid, this, after the band recently signed to do a film with the latter under Viva.

“Excited kami kasi magkakasama uli kami, kasama namin ‘yung iba [bandmates], so, ‘yun, exciting,” he said.

When teased if he’s willing to do a kissing scene with Vice Ganda, Cipriano stammered a bit before blurting out, "Okay lang. Kasi, ano 'yan, e, ah, wala. ‘Yun ‘yun, e.”

He added: “Wala namang [malice behind it], ‘di ba? As long you have respect for the person, it's fine."

Not that he is turning his back on reel love team partner, Alex Gonzaga.

"Walang ganun,” said he curtly.

According to Cipriano, he considers both Vice Ganda and Gonzaga very close friends.

“So, para mo akong tinanong kung sino ang mas mahal ko, mommy ko o daddy ko. It's hard to answer," he stressed.

He thanked fans who supported the show he did with Toni Gonzaga's younger sister dubbed "BFGF."

“Kahit walang project na magkasama kami ni Alex, hanggang ngayon, nararamdaman ko sila and thankful ako dahil kung wala sila, hindi rin naman magwo-work yung ginawa namin [show]," he said.
With Cipriano’s acting mettle having been somehow tested via the hit TV5 show, pundits are left wondering if the rest of Callalily can become actors as well.

Cipriano assured it.

"Maarte din kasi sila, e. I mean, umaarte din sila," he kidded.

Despite their entry into film-making, Cipriano assured fans that the band will continue making music.

"Kung anuman ang ginagawa ko, ginagawa namin na iba, ano yun, e, parte siya ng libro ng Callalily," he said.

"As long as we're happy with what we're doing, okay lang kami dun. Pero we'll never ever gonna give up music."
