MANILA, Philippines - After dedicating songs like “It Must’ve Been Love” and “Cool” to her estranged husband, James Yap, TV host-actress Kris Aquino revealed that she has written a poem for him.
The poem will be included in her upcoming compilation album, reported “The Buzz” last Feb. 6.
“Sinabi ko naman kay James, ‘Last na ‘yan, closed chapter na tayo.’ May poem ako don tungkol sa kanya at tungkol sa’kin,” said Kris in an interview.
In her Jan. 31 tweet, Kris said the album contains “many revelations but positive ones.”
Kris and James’ new-found friendship seemed to have gone a long way since they parted ways in June of last year. And albeit they’re living separately---and dealing with an annulment case---it looks like they can still rely on each other, as proven by Kris’ recent call to James to ask for advice when she had a minor accident in Cebu before the auditions for the second season of “Pilipinas Got Talent (PGT).”
The controversial multi-media star recalled falling in the backstage of the venue.
“Tapyas ang tuhod ko ngayon. Tapos in all fairness naman, maganda ‘yung benefit na ang dati mong partner ay atleta kasi natawagan namin si James para magtanong kung anong dapat ipahid dun sa team doctor nila dahil nga nung una kasi bukol na bukol eh, ang laki,” related Kris.
Despite the accident, the auditions (which, according to Kris’ tweet last Jan. 18, took place from Jan. 27 to 28) pushed through.
Although Kris’ love life is quiet nowadays, romantic possibilities await her, or so feng shui expert Marites Allen predicted.
As someone born on the Year of the Pig, Kris has “the flower of romance, so for [her] chart, the so-called spouse star energy is very strong from now until 2013," said Marites in an interview with “Showbiz News Ngayon.”
Kris, however, has a lot on her mind (and heart) these days as she fulfills her duties to her family, particularly to her two sons Joshua and Baby James (a.k.a. Bimby), and her career (with two shows airing soon, “PGT” and “The Price Is Right”).
“I’m enjoying my work, I’m enjoying my family, I’m enjoying my freedom. Mas madaling magtrabaho na wala kang iniilagan. The good thing about life is I’m seeing people but I’m not dating,” she told “The Buzz.”
Bimby, however, was not too happy during Kris’ interview, telling Kris bluntly things like “you’re not beautiful mom,” and that he doesn’t love her.
Carrying him, Kris asked Bimby for the reason of his “tampo,” to which he said, “Because I’m angry.”
The source of the five-year-old’s upset, Kris said in another separate venue, was, “kasi naiwan siya… Hurt-hurt [siya] kasi hindi siya naka-akyat ng stage. Kaya pina-punish niya ko ngayon na sinasabi niyang hindi ako beautiful. “
Then, directing to Bimby, Kris said,” It’s my birthday. You don’t love me? I’m gonna cry na. I love you Bimb.”
Her little son eventually gave in and said “I love you mom.”
Seemingly overprotective of Kris setting her sights on someone new, Bimby quickly planted a kiss on her lips---even if he doesn’t like lipstick---when she warned him, “Kiss na tayo… Hala ka somebody else will kiss me.”
Kris then sweetly urged Bimby, “You tell everybody mama’s beautiful. You like somebody else to tell mama I’m beautiful?”
“No!” he whined. “You’re beautiful mom.”
“Thank you.”
