At least one person was killed while four others were hurt when they figured in a predawn road accident on Marcos Highway in Marikina City Saturday.
The incident involved a Delica-type van heading for Antipolo City and a Honda Civic sedan traveling in the opposite direction, radio dzBB reported.
Killed on the spot was the driver of the Civic, initially identified as Mark Obasa.
Four passengers of the van were rushed to the Amang Rodriguez Medical Center.
An initial investigation showed the van was heading for Antipolo when it the Civic sedan suddenly swerved into its path.
