MANILA, Philippines -- The phenomenal ABS-CBN primetime series “Imortal” is now on its final three weeks and expectedly, things will be doubly exciting and suspenseful.
When it started six months ago, the Angel Locsin-John Lloyd Cruz series ignited interest of viewers with intense dramatic scenes, heart-thumping action from its stars and unexpected twists.
As it sets on to its concluding weeks, the drama gets deeper, the action gets even more extreme and the plot gets more powerful.
Viewers are in for a non-cliché ending, according to directors Jerry Sineneng and Richard Somes.
John Lloyd said in an interview that being part of “Imortal” has been quite a journey for him. He added, “my role in ‘Imortal’ is very memorable. Ngayon lang ako nag-leather jacket sa Maynila. Hahaha.”
Angel on the other hand considers being part of “Imortal” as a blessing. “Blessing po talaga ang maging bahagi ng ganitong klaseng proyekto.’’
The final episodes of “Imortal” will zero in on Lia (Angel) and Mateo’s (John Lloyd) fight in keeping their love safe from harm. With Lia’s memory of Mateo restored, their love blooms into marriage. But a new prophecy will hinder Lia and Mateo from attaining the peace that they want.
“Imortal,” airs weeknights after “Mara Clara” on ABS-CBN Primetime Bida. For more updates, log on to www.abs-cbn.com and follow abscbndotcom on Twitter.
