MANILA, Philippines -- Road rage suspect Jason Ivler was transferred to a jail facility in Camp Bagong Diwa, Taguig, Tuesday afternoon following allegations that he is being given special treatment at the Quezon City Jail.

The Quezon City Jail confirmed that Ivler, held on murder charges, left the facility at around 1:50 p.m. Tuesday.

However, desk officer Senior Jail Officer 1 Rogelio Perez declined to give details of the transfer, including how many jail guards escorted the high profile suspect, saying the information is confidential.

Judge Bayani Vargas issued the commitment order for Ivler's transfer to the Metro Manila District Jail in Taguig City upon the request of the prosecution and Quezon City Jail warden Supt. Joseph Vale.

The order was dated April 15 but was only served to the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) officials yesterday afternoon.

Last April 1, then Quezon City warden Senior Supt. Hernan Grande was removed from his post and replaced by Vale following allegations that Ivler was allowed to party during the Christmas holidays and even posted pictures and videos of the revelry on Youtube and Facebook.
