KC Concepcion calls Piolo Pascual 'Jags'

MANILA, Phiippines – Young star KC Concepcion has finally revealed her term of endearment for boyfriend Piolo Pascual.

“Jaggy... Jags. Jaguar po ‘yung tawag ko sa kanya,” Concepcion said in a recent interview.
“Hindi ko po alam. Basta napag-usapan namin one time sa sasakyan ‘yon,” she explained. “Kasi ‘yung cousins ko po (ang) tawag namin sa isa’t-isa, the Lost Beast---parang ‘yung The Lost Boys sa 'Peter Pan.' Kasi ‘pag magkasama kami ng mga pinsan ko para
kaming bumabalik sa childhood, ‘yung Never, Never Land. So, meron kaming mga names, like meron kaming Grizzly, ‘yung kuya ko... Meron kaming Bunny....’yung girlfriend niya Bunny din. 'Pag magkasama, Bunnies. The other one is Squirrel.... si Husky kasi mukha siya..very puppet-like ‘yung features. Ako si Cubby.
"So, naghanap naman kami ng animal name for him (Piolo). Parang katuwaan lang po namin...parang very childish lang po,” she explained.


Concepcion, whom Pascual calls Princess, seems to be at ease talking about her relationship with the actor, a far cry from how she was before.
“Kasi po siguro matagal na rin po akong naghintay na ma-acknowledge po in a way ‘yung meron kami. Kasi po me mga speculations na rin. I appreciated very much that he came out on 'The Buzz' to say the truth. I guess that’s also unavoidable because it’s my first relationship with someone who’s on camera. I mean, who’s also known, because my last one was [with] a director...” she said.
The birthday girl admitted, “I’ve only had two serious relationships and they’re both long distance, so parang I never had the chance really to talk about [them].”
She admitted, “I was very and still am very uncomfortable with it. Like nu’ng in-admit niya sa 'The Buzz,' bigla-bigla akong hiningian ng reaction. ‘Di ba po sa totoong buhay ‘pag may ganoong nangyari, talagang nanamnamin n’yo muna? Iniisip n’yo ano ba ‘yung (nangyari)? What just happened there? I couldn’t understand pa kung ano talaga ang nangyari. Pina-analyze sa akin so parang hindi ko siya na-enjoy nang normal. So, I’m still uncomfortable with it.”

However, she has become accustomed to talking about the actor.

“With my life here in showbiz, the more pala that you open up and the more na nakilala ka ng tao and the more you share your experience na usually ayaw mo pala, parang in the end, it’s better somewhat kasi ikaw ‘yun, eh. It’s part of your life. It’s better pala in the end kasi parang you’re not lying about anything.”
