MANILA, Philippines - Teenage actor AJ Perez was laid to rest Tuesday afternoon at Manila Memorial Park in Parañaque City.
Perez was brought to his final resting place after a 9 a.m. Mass at the main chapel of The Christ The King Parish in Quezon City.
Perez's favorite blanket and a pair of rubber shoes as well as the watch he gave his younger brother were reportedly placed inside the casket.
His family, relatives, and friends in and out of show business came to pay their last respects.
The 18-year-old actor, whose last television show was "Sabel," was killed in a highway accident in Tarlac on April 17.
The actor was riding an ABS-CBN van with his father and 4 others when it collided with a Partas provincial passenger bus along McArthur Highway in Barangay San Julian.
