MANILA, Philippines – Actress Cristine Reyes cites “conflict” in schedule” as the reason Derek Ramsay backed out of the forthcoming soap, "Reputasyon."

“'Di na ata kaya ng schedule niya [Ramsay],” Reyes told “Showbiz News Ngayon” in a taped interview aired on May 16.

However, Reyes added, “Makakasama ko pa rin naman si Derek sa isang movie.”

Currently, the actor-athlete is part of ABS-CBN’s latest reality show, “The Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition.”

There's no official word yet on who will replace Ramsay on "Reputasyon," but according to a May 14 post in the soap's Facebook account, “‎Jake Cuenca is the newest Leading Man of Cristine Reyes!”

A separate post on PhilippineTV’s Twitter account also on May 14 listed the cast members of "Reputasyon" as “Cristine Reyes, Jason Abalos, Jake Cuenca, Ms. Jaclyn Jose, and Aiko Melendez.”

More, Reyes described the upcoming teleserye as “drama talaga," adding, “Mabigat talaga yung mga eksena na gagawin namin.”

“Sa ngayon nagre-ready ako emotionally and physically sa taping namin para anytime kahit anong ipagawa sa 'kin, magagawa ko,” she said.

Meanwhile, a May 16 column item on Pinoyparazzi.com revealed that Reyes is saving up for a house she plans to build on her recently-bought parcel of land in Ayala-Alabang.

“Kaya wala akong tinatanggihang trabaho, Tita [referring to Mateo]. Dati, may konti lang hindi ako magandang pakiramdam sa katawan ko, hindi ako magtatrabaho. Pero ngayon, kesehodang may sakit ako, go nang go!” Reyes was quoted as saying.

“Ganito pala talaga ‘pag may goal ka na at pinaglalaanan na ng mga pinagpapaguran mo,” the actress mused.
