MANILA, Philippines – After actor Jake Cuenca’s admission last Sunday that he and his girlfriend Melissa Ricks “have some things to fix,” the 2 were spotted together Monday night in a block screening of Cuenca's movie.
Talking to “Showbiz News Ngayon” after the screening, Cuenca revealed that Ricks was his inspiration while he was doing “In the Name of Love.”
“Like what I said before, she was my inspiration in this movie. Masaya lang ako na nakanood siya talaga. Tulad nga ng sinabi ko sa kanya, hindi ka man nasa pelikula pero ang laking tulong sa akin para magawa ko ng mabuti ang pelikula,” he said.
It was noticed, however, that Ricks immediately went out of the movie house right after the film.
Ricks also did not give any media interviews, and only said that she found the movie awesome and that people should watch it.
Meanwhile, Cuenca said he and Ricks have decided to prioritize their careers first.
“Work muna talaga. Also Mel. She’s very busy also. Pareho kaming trabaho trabaho muna,” he said.
