‘It Girls’ Goof Around In Their Own ‘Call Me Maybe’ Video

MANILA, Philippines – Local “It Girls” Anne Curtis, Solenn Heussaff, Georgina Wilson, Isabelle Daza, and Liz Uy unleashed their goofy side with some of their closest friends via their fun take on the hit song “Call Me Maybe.”

The video, edited by Miguel Lugtu and posted on YouTube on May 21, shows the five celebrities dancing and lip-synching to the song popularized by Carly Rae Jepsen. Actress Carla Humphries, TV host Raymond Gutierrez, models Borgy Manotoc and Bea Soriano, and celebrity chef Erwan Heussaff, among others, can also be seen goofing around in the clip, and so is boxing champ and Sarangani representative Manny Pacquiao.



The five girls gamely shared the link of their video on Twitter. It has so far generated almost 300,000 views on YouTube.

“Thank you to @miguellugtu who tediously edited our video and made it so fun to watch!! And kept up w all the diva demands haha WE LOVE U!!” tweeted Georgina on May 23.

Aside from their fans, fellow celebrities also enjoyed watching the video.

Former Rivermaya front man Rico Blanco, meanwhile, said: “Dear curt, sos, bea, belle, george, et al. We'd love to call you, maybe, if you weren't all taken :*”

Comedian John “Sweet” Lapus exclaimed, “Ang gaganda ng #DiSuklayGang @iloveGEORGINA @solennheussaff @annecurtissmith @lizzzuy . Kaloka!,” while model Kelly Misa said, “Soooooo cute!!! :)”

A video with a similar concept, featuring young superstars Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, and Ashley Tisdale, with their friends, went viral earlier this year. It now has nearly 40 million hits on YouTube.
