Xian Lim and Kim Chiu still make good music together

MANILA, Philippines – Kim Chiu has admitted that her friendship with Xiam Lim continues to blossom.

Chiu said she and Lim often go out, even as the latter often visits her at home. She refused, however, to confirm if they’re exclusively dating.

“Hindi naman [namin] kailangan ng label,” Chiu said during a recent press conference. “Labas labas lang. Kasama ko mga kapatid ko.”

But the actress is adamant that Lim is “iba.”

“Siyempre yung ’di ko pa naramdaman dati, yun ang napaparamdam niya. [Pero] Dahan-dahan [lang].”

Chiu revealed that her siblings are already chummy with Lim, going as far as to conspire with the latter whenever he wanted to surprise Chiu.

But that said, they are reserving their judgement on Lim’s wooing of their sister.

“Konti pa raw,” said Chiu.

Asked what qualities endeared Lim to her, Chiu enumerated, “’yung looks niya, yung pagmamahal niya sa pamilya niya, kung paano niya tratuhin yung tao sa bahay at mga kapatid ko.”

Chiu also likes it that the actor-singer is fond of surprises including showering her with gifts.

“Actually, marami naman siyang ginagawang pakulo e. Like nu’ng araw ng birthday ko, nasa bundok ako, wala akong signal, nagsyu-shooting ako ng ‘The Healing.’ Tapos pag-uwi ko ng bahay, sa sala may puno ng flowers na heart-shaped. So parang sabi ko sa mga kapatid ko, ‘Kanino naman galing ito?’ Tapos bigla siyang tumawag dahil sinabihan siya ng mga kapatid ko na nasa house na ako. Binigyan niya ako ng red roses, ang dami dami!” she shared.

Not surprisingly, Lim doesn’t forget to give presents to her siblings as well as the rest of the household.

“Nagugulat na lang sila maraming dalang food para sa aming lahat. Kunwari milk tea, para sa aming lahat, katulong ko, driver ko. And nagugulat sisters ko, 'yung buong bahay namin may party.”
