MANILA, Philippines --- Apart from government work and college classes, Malacañang has suspended work in private offices on Tuesday in the National Capital Region (NCR) and nine nearby provinces due to heavy rains and deep floods.
Executive Secretary Paquito Ochoa Jr said there will be no work in NCR, Zambales, Bataan, Pampanga, Pangasinan, Tarlac, Laguna, Cavite, Rizal and Bulacan. The announcement was made at around 940 am Tuesday as monsoon rains caused floods across Metro Manila and neighboring provinces.
