The Si Agimat, Si Enteng at Si Ako actor says that he will have more time to spend time with family and loved ones because of the decision of the Metro Manila Film Festival committee to hold the parade on December 23, instead of the traditional December 24 schedule.
“Kasi ang parade ngayon was moved to a day earlier, December 23.
"Dati kasi December 24 at matatapos na yun, late na ng gabi.
"E, yung misa sa amin, 8:30 ng gabi."
He then quipped: “Minsan hindi na ako nakaka-goli [ligo] pero this time, makakapagpunas-punas na ako bago magsimba."
He later explained, “I always find time na makasama ang mga mahal ko sa buhay…
"After the midnight Mass, nagno-Noche Buena kami sa bahay kasama ang mga anak ko.
"Simple lang, nothing bonggacious, ‘ika nga."
Will he be celebrating the holidays with Pauleen?
“Ay, dapat lang. Bakit naman hindi?
"Pero meron din naman siyang pamilya to spend her Christmas with."
Will they be celebrating Christmas eve or Christmas day with each other?
“I really don’t know, depende sa mga schedule ng mga pamilya namin."
Has he already thought of a gift for Pauleen?
“Wala pa, wala pa… pagmamahal ang pinakaimportanteng gift."
Bossing Vic then said that he is excited for the coming year.
“I always look forward to a New Year kasi 2012 is good, pero I see to it that 2013 will be better.
"Gusto ko parating may improvement ang lahat ng bagay—sa career, sa pelikula, sa pamilya, sa mga anak. Lahat."
It will be recalled that Vic and Pauleen walked on the red carpet together during the November 27 premiere of D’Kilabots: Pogi Brothers Weh?!
He explained, “Pelikula ng Dabarkads yun, e, kaya dapat kumpleto ang suporta."
Will he also have Pauleen join him on the red carpet during the premiere night of Si Agimat, Si Enteng at Si Ako?
“Kung pwede siya. Kung walang taping siguro," said Vic.
PAULEEN ON BEING OPEN ABOUT LOVE. Columnist and PEP contributor Allan Diones asked Vic regarding the frequent posts of Pauleen about love. She recently posted a photo with the letters L-O-V-E and she also posted this quote:
“You've gotta dance like there's nobody watching, Love like you'll never be hurt, Sing like there's nobody listening, And live like it's heaven on earth. Good night world. Always remember [sic] that in everything you do, do it with love. God bless everyone!"
Allan directly asked: Is Vic the reason why Pauleen is being very expressive about love?
Vic immediately replied, “Malamang! Oo naman, oo!"
Allan mentioned that Pauleen even posted: “I am the happiest girl in the world."
Vic said emphatically: “Ako yun! Ako yun!"
He then turned serious as he said, “Wala kasi akong Instagram…pero malamang ako na nga ‘yon."
How does he feel about the fact that Pauleen is very open about her feelings?
“It’s very flattering… kung ako yun, ha! Alam mo naman yung batang yun, mabait…"
He quipped: “Magi-Instagram nga ako," eliciting laughter from the crowd.
