Erich No Qualms Working With Ex-Suitor

MANILA, Philippines – Erich Gonzales sets it straight that her boyfriend has nothing to worry about when it comes to her working with an ex-suitor, Coco Martin.

The Kapamilya actress said so in an interview aired on “KrisTV,” where host Kris Aquino revealed that Coco courted Erich in 2010 when the two worked together in the independent film “Noy.”

Now that they will be working together for the small screen, Erich finds it a non-issue to be Coco’s “Juan dela Cruz” leading lady.
“No, hindi naman [awkward]. Okay kami ni Coco,” she assured.

Erich also revealed in her “KrisTV” interview that she has a very supportive non-showbiz boyfriend, and that, “Secure siya, wala din siyang dapat ipagselos.”

She added that her boyfriend, whom she described to be a 32-year-old businessman in a separate interview with Push, understands her work and is fine with her being paired with other men.

Longtime single Coco, on the other hand, feels the chemistry between him and new leading lady.

He said in a recent interview with ABS-CBN News, “Actually si Erich excited ako na makatrabaho siya kasi isa siya sa mga magagandang artista at magagaling na artista ng ABS-CBN. Kahit hindi pa kami ganoon ka-close, kapag magka-eksena kami ay nagkakaroon ng chemistry.”

Although admitting that he has no time for love at the moment, the so-called Indie Prince has been romantically linked to former leading ladies Angeline Quinto and Julia Montes.
