MANILA, Philippines - Has Steph Ayson, girlfriend of the late young actor AJ Perez , already found a new love?

This speculation surfaced after the 17-year-old 'instant celebrity' posted on her official Twitter account Wednesday that she is already dating someone else.

"Oh Chedeng... You are ruining my date with @Qfilart ," she posted.

Shorty after her controversial statement, Twitterverse was abuzz and started asking Ayson about the issue.

Many expressed their disappointment over Ayson's fast recovery just 40 days after Perez's early demise.

Twitter user mmblogger said: "Bilis naman palitan ni Steph si AJ asus!"

Meantime, Ayson has set the record straight over her controversial tweet.

Speaking to "Showbiz News Ngayon", Ayson clarified that user @Qfilart is a female close friend.

"Kasi I have a close friend. Her name is Queena. Siguro nag-overreact lang ang people kasi I called it a date but she's a girl and she's one of my closest friends," she said.

"In fact, sila ni AJ ang laging nagpa-plan ng surprises for me," she added.

Perez, 18, was killed in a vehicular accident in a Tarlac highway last April 17 after doing a show in Dagupan.

The Star Magic artist was with his father and 4 others when the ABS-CBN van carrying them collided with a Partas provincial passenger bus along MacArthur Highway in Barangay San Julian.
