Camp Vicente Lim, Laguna – The charred remains of 3 unidentified persons were found in separate locations in Batangas and Quezon Saturday morning, police said.
Senior Superintendent Alberto Supapo, Batangas police director, said two bodies were found by a resident at the boundaries of Sitio 3, Barangay Balete and Barangay Mahabang Parang in Batangas City.
Police recovered two empty shells of a caliber 45 pistol in the crime scene.
“The suspects used old tires in burning the bodies of the victims. Initially, we’re looking here at a case of summary execution” Superintendent George Dadulo, Batangas City police chief said.
Meanwhile, another charred remain of a person was also found in a grassy portion of Barangay Pury, San Antonio, Quezon yesterday morning.
Probers have yet to identify the names of the victims and the persons responsible in the incident.
