MANILA, Philippines (1st UPDATE) – A person was killed and 5 others were injured when a private plane crashed at Camp John Hay in Baguio City on Sunday.
ABS-CBN Northern Luzon correspondent Dhobie de Guzman was near the site when the incident happened at around 3 p.m.
Rescuers are still looking for the one passenger, believed to have died after being trapped in the fire that engulfed the aircraft.
The 5 severely injured passengers, on the other hand, were rushed to the Baguio General Hospital.
Many onlookers were able to witness the plane explode near the horse trail, which serves as a picnic area in the park.
