Manila, Philippines - Young actor Enzo Pineda has admitted to feeling a tinge of jealousy that stems from the pairing of Alden Richards and Louise delos Reyes in the series "One True Love."
Pineda, who is rumored to be in a relationship with delos Reyes, says he doesn't like seeing the romantic scenes between Richards and the young actress.
“Hindi naman sa ayaw ko manood pero I admit, minsan nagseselos ako," said he in a recent interview with PEP.
“I guess it’s normal, aminado ako sa sarili ko, eh. Okay nang maging totoo. Kasi ako, I care for Louise, when you care for someone [affected ka].”
Despite that, he nevertheless still refuses to divulge the real state of his relationship with the young actress.
“Let’s see, let’s see," he said. “Trabaho muna. Kasi, we both respect our work."
Pineda’s workload presently includes his new GMA-7 TV series "Together Forever" and the horror film "Basement," as well as attending a weekly acting workshop.
But he is not complaining. The 21-year old admits he is happy with the way things are, noting how much he has learned in his two years in showbiz.
“Personally it helps me a lot. At saka mas na-appreciate ko ‘yong acting ngayon, kasi it’s not just you acting, it is more about being expressive," said he in the same PEP interview.
“Ang magaling naman na actor is [one who knows how to be] expressive, eh, you know how to feel,” he added. “Natutunan ko na ‘yong acting ko ngayon, hindi siya sumusobra, hindi siya kulang. ‘Yon ang importante, e."
Pineda started his showbiz career in 2010 via the talent show "StarStruck 5" where he was named First Prince.
