MANILA, Philippines – Comedian Vice Ganda laughed off the rumor that he recently threw a tantrum at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

Vice, who has traveled in and out of the country for shows, allegedly hurled his shoes at the X-Ray machine when he was asked to remove them for security inspection.

Unlike Vice, hunk-actor Aljur Abrenica seemingly couldn’t take in stride the criticisms about his acting ability. In a recent interview with PEP, the “StarStruck: The Next Level” champ admitted that he was ill affected by the negative reviews about his portrayal of a warrior cursed to become a wooden statue on “Machete.”

There were even jokes, as stated in a Journal Online article, that the “Machete” statue acted better than Aljur did.

Ano ba ang kailangan kong gawin?” said Aljur.

He admitted that he cried over the criticisms, saying, “Tao lang po ako. Nasasaktan.”

Despite the flak he got, Aljur believes that the series did well albeit it only lasted for eight weeks. The 21-year-old Kapuso star is also determined to do much better.
