Marc Acueza: Naturally gifted actor

Manila, Philippines - Ever since playing the role of Samuel Zaragoza in the afternoon soap Sisid, Marc Acueza (photo) has been enjoying a steady rise as a promising talent.

His new TV commercial promoting the Lucky Me noodles “Supreme Jjampong” has attracted a number of fans; with them finding the TVC extra cool thanks to his superb acting ability. He had to fly to South Korea, where the product comes from, to shoot the commercial.

Many think of the GMA Artist Center talent as naturally gifted in terms of acting that many of his supporters at first did not realize it’s him starring in the commercial. That is proof that he can appear as another person if artistically required.

One fan pointed out, “You’re such a great artist. Simple lang pero hindi dinadaan sa pa-cute ang pag-arte. Galing mo po. Natural na talent talaga. Keep up the good work and more projects to come.”

In Sisid, Marc co-starred with leads Jackie Rice, JC Tiuseco, and Dominic Roco. Even if categorized as a recurring cast member, viewers found his screen time well-spent, ushering a new start in his career following a seemingly a lull he didn’t deserve.

Before becoming a Kapuso talent, Marc acted as Sixto in the last installment of Ai-Ai de las Alas-starred series Tanging Ina. He showcased his skill anew as Alvin in the sine novela Trudis Liit, featuring Jillian Ward in the title role. At present, he is playing a crucial role in the series Broken Vow as TVCs and TV shows continue to fill up his hectic schedule.

His ultimate dream is to be cast as a leading man in a drama series. He would love to work with Lovi Poe if given the opportunity.
