MMDA advises motorists on MMFF parade route

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority over the weekend advised motorists to take alternate routes as the Metro Manila Film Festival parade goes underway this Sunday.

In an advisory, the MMDA said the parade will start in front of the Quirino Grandstand at 2 p.m. and end at SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City.

The MMDA said one route of the parade is to turn left at T.M. Kalaw, turn right at Roxas Blvd., right at Buendia Avenue, left at Macapagal Avenue, right at Seaside Blvd., left at Jose Diokno Blvd., right at Harbor Drive, and end at MOA.

On the other hand, it said a "Plan B" involves having the parade go from Quirino Grandstand to Roxas Boulevard, then go to EDSA towards MOA.

It said alternate routes that motorists could take include:

* Southbound - From T.M. Kalaw, left turn at A. Mabini straight to F. B Harrison, right turn to EDSA, left to Roxas Blvd.

* Northbound - From EDSA, left turn at Taft Avenue straight to corner T.M. Kalaw
