MANILA, Philippines – Young actress Andi Eigenmann was hit by a blank bullet in the left side of her chest while taping a scene with co-actor Martin Del Rosario for “Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin.”
According to a report by PEP, the actress suffered no serious injury though she experienced the burn in her chest. Andi was rushed by her handler Cris Navarro to St. Luke’s Medical Center where she was given first aid and advised by a doctor to take a rest until Sunday.
A few days ago, Andi was also in the news after she was allegedly seen with her ex-boyfriend Jake Ejercito. She was said to have been in the company of Jake’s brother senator Jinggoy Estrada.
Jake is the son of actress Laarni Enriquez and former president Joseph Estrada. He’s currently in the country for a short vacation from school in London.
Meanwhile, Raymond Bagatsing, who’s back in harness after an absence of many years, just laughed off the seemingly endless rumors questioning his gender.
“Wala, natatawa lang ako,” Raymond said on “Juicy” March 18.
For the actor, the gender issue is something he need not dignify.
“Ba’t mo ipaglalaban ang isang bagay na nakakatawa. Sa akin, natutuwa ako dahil gano’n ang iniisip nila. Pagka sinabi mong hindi totoo ‘yan......'Naku, pinagtatakpan niya.' Gano’n pa rin so, bahala na sila mag-isip noon.”
Raymond refuted another rumor---that he cross-dresses in the US.
“Siguro nakatangga ako. Ano ba ang suot niya, naka-white dress? Imadyinin mo na lang kung paano ang hitsura ko. Siguro nakagano’n siya (flexing his muscles). Ang lalaki ng mga muscles, ‘di ba? Bahala na sila mag-isip noon.”
Raymond explained that his long absence in show business was because of his green card.
“Trinabaho ko ang green card ko. After four years bago ko nakuha ‘yon. Pero noong nakuha ko ‘yung green card ko, nag-audition ako......siguro mga anim. Sa awa ng Diyos, ‘yung tatlo doon, maliliit na pelikula..mga indie film, nakuha ko.”
