MANILA, Philippines – Award-winning actor Coco Martin denied that he and Maja Salvador are feuding with their “Misan lang kita iibigin” co-star Andi Eigenmann.
“Walang ganun,” said he on “The Buzz,” Sunday, March 6.
Salvador was quick to rebuff the notion as well saying, “Hindi namin siya [Eigenmann] iniiwan [sa ere].”
Martin and Salvador's denial came amid rumors that they were ganging up on Eigenmann on the set of the series.
Eigenmann herself, who appeared together with the two during the "live" interview, was adamant that no such thing ever happened in the months they spent together taping scenes for the show.
“No, wala,” she said laughing.
According to Eigenmann, working with Martin and Salvador, is a breeze inasmuch as the two, she said, are very supportive of her, a “newbie.”
“I admit I was intimidated with Ate Maja and Coco at first but that’s acting wise because they have more experience,” she said.
“But they were very supportive of me. Para na nila akong nakababatang kapatid. ‘Di ko naman naramdaman na iniwan nila ako eh.”
On the other hand, both Salvador and Martin have nothing but praises for their co-star.
“Magaling siya, go lang nang go,” Salvador shared.
"Ibang-ibang Andi ang mapapanood ng mga tao dito [in the series]."
Martin and Salvador had worked together in the afternoon soap “Nagsimula sa Puso.” It’s the first time for both to work with Eigenmann who came to prominence for her work on the hit prime-time series, “Agua Bendita.”
Some people surmise the “rift rumor” between the three was created by drum beaters to create publicity for the series as par per course.
