May pressure po. Kasi, I don't know if they [the public] like me or they'll like it [the film],” the Kapuso actress was quoted as saying by PEP in an article posted on March 20.

Zamora, who stars in her first international film, is keeping her fingers crossed that Pinoys would come to appreciate the film "kasi ibang level na 'to.”

"Kasi, Indonesia has a lot of more plans of doing movies in the Philippines.

"So, parang ganito ang magiging style. So, sana may support. Kasi kung may suporta 'to, I'm sure may follow-up,” she said.

On acting and versatility

Zamora reiterates that whatever praise the film has been getting ought not be accounted solely to her but to Indonesian director Muhammad Yusuf.

“For me, it's really the director talaga,” she quipped.

She thinks that while actors are crucial to a film, it is the director who shapes one into what it is.

"Kasi, if the actor is good...[that is] thanks to the director because of all the directions that's given,” she said.

Zamora stated that even if she had to endure bruises and got hospitalized frequently for the kneecap injury she sustained in doing the stunt scenes on her own, she believes "it was all worth it.”

She even declared that as far as the film's challenges are concerned, “if I have to do it again, I'll do it again."

Now that she’s got a taste of portraying a “different” role, Zamora says she intends to continue flexing her acting muscles and “exploring” other types of characters.

The 20-year-old actress said, "I want to explore some more characters.Like ngayon, nagawa 'ko ang fantasy, nagawa 'ko ng comedy. Nagawa 'ko bida, nagawa 'ko kontrabida. Nagawa 'ko ang parang horror...scary.

"And I'm sure, there's a lot more that I want to try and explore more as much as I can."

In the film, Zamora plays half-Filipina, half-American expatriate, Angel; a hotel employee who, according to a previous Bulletin Entertainment report, witnesses the grotesque killing of her father by an armed syndicate.

Being sole eyewitness to the crime, Angel was forced to flee and hide from the syndicate who wants to get rid of her as well. With the goal to avenge her father’s death, Angel eventually meets his leading man played by Indonesian actor, Tyo Pakusa Dewol.
