MANILA, Philippines – Marriage hasn’t gotten in the way of Juris’ singing career, or vice versa—in fact, things have been running pretty smoothly five months into her life as Mrs. Gavin Lim.
“Siguro kapag may anak na baka mag-adjust na kami. Pero right now, okay pa naman kami,” the former MYMP vocalist told ABS-CBNNews.com in an interview posted on May 30.
Juris and Gavin tied the knot on November 2011 at Mary the Queen Parish in Quezon City. The couple had been together for five years prior their engagement in January the same year.
The singer admitted that her schedules do get demanding at times; however, “… madali lang naman 'yon, kasi pwede namang pakiusapan ang manager ko na kunwari for this week or pwede itong day na ito ay huwag munang lagyan ng schedule.
“Pero kung hindi mapigilan okay lang naman 'yung trabaho. Kailangan ko din ng trabaho kasi kailangan naming mag-ipon,” she said.
At “30-plus,” Juris is “masayang-masaya… na nakapag-settle down na din” and be able to “build a family together.”
Meanwhile, the same online source reported that the singer is set to do a project in Singapore.
It wouldn’t be the first time she'll go abroad for work. Last year, Juris was lone Filipino performer invited to the Green Plugged Seoul music festival in South Korea.
Earlier, she recorded a six-track EP titled, “If You and Me,” which was reportedly released in the Korean market on November 2010 under Star Records.
