Shaina, Andi On Real Score With Piolo, Jake

MANILA, Philippines – Shaina Magdayao has dismissed rumors romantically linking her to fellow Kapamilya actor Piolo Pascual.
In a statement sent to “The Buzz” head writer Darla Sauler, also posted on her blog dated Oct. 20, Shaina said, “Papa P has always been a gentleman naman to me and everyone. Kahit sino pa tanungin niyo :) Isang mabait na tao. We're friends. :)

According to a report aired on “The Buzz” Sunday afternoon, Piolo and Shaina supposedly became close to one another while in Singapore for the “ASAP 2012” concert held recently. Citing a “reliable source, “Buzz” reported, “marami raw ang nakapansin sa tila kakaibang closeness at sweetness nina Shaina at Piolo sa Singapore.

Madalas daw na magkasama ang dalawa at huli pa raw na nagho-holding hands ang mga ito. Maging ang ilang mga co-stars nila umano sa programa ay nagtaka at nagtanong din sa tila kakaibang kinikilos nina Shaina at Piolo. “Ilang source din ang nagparating sa 'The Buzz' na bago pa ang naturang pagtatanghal ng ‘ASAP’ sa Singapore ay tila may namumuo ng magandang pagtitinginan sina Piolo at Shaina,” the report related at length. Prior, it showed a couple of photos from said trip posted on Instagram by Shaina, one of which had her sitting beside Piolo at a local diner. But the actress nipped rumors in the bud, explaining in the same post that “ASAP” co-stars Nikki Gil, Billy Crawford, and a friend have been with them, only that she didn’t include them in the photos. “Buzz” sought Billy for comment, who confirmed that they were indeed with Piolo and Shaina.

He, however, downplayed talk that the two have been sweet while there. “Si PJ (Piolo’s nickname), gentleman lang naman talaga ‘yan eh, kahit anong mangyari. He was also taking care of Shaina, inaalalayan din. Kami actually magkakasama most of the time eh. “So, of course sweet sila, but nasa kanila na ‘yun eh. Hindi ko alam kung ano ba, may namumuo ba sa kanila o hindi eh. Hindi ko alam eh,” he said. More, the dancer-host denied that the two have been holding each other’s hand most of the time then.

“Kung sino man ang nag-iimbento ng mga kaganapan do’n, ako katabi ko sila mismo, walang holding hands,” he said. Andi inspired by Elli, Jake Meanwhile, another Kapamilya actress Andi Eigenmann has admitted that Jake Ejercito, son of former President Joseph Estrada, “does make me happy.” In a separate taped interview aired in the same “Buzz” episode, Andi elaborated, “I’m single, but then I have an inspiration. Opo, si Jake po; besides Elli, there’s Jake.”

 But she emphasized that “gano’n lang po talaga ‘yun.” “Kasi, ‘yun nga, gusto namin, ‘di ba, marunong kami mag-respeto sa mga mas matanda sa ‘min, sa mga mas nakakaalam [kung] ano ‘yung nakakabuti sa amin. Kaya ayoko pong tapakan po ‘yon, sirain po ‘yon. We’ll see,” the actress said. As for now, Andi busies herself with the preparations for her daughter Elli’s first birthday bash next month.

 “It’s going to be big for sure because it’s a way for me to show people and to show Elli how much I’m going to work hard for her,” said she.
