MANILA, Philippines - "Pilipinas Got Talent" first grand winner Jovit Baldivino is excited over having been chosen to do the remake of the hit "Mula Sa Puso."
"Siyempre po masaya po ako at saka isang karangalan po na ako po ang pinili na mag-remake ng 'Mula sa Puso'. Siyempre sa dami ng kasama kong mga singer at artists na kagaya ko eh ako pa ang napili," Baldivino said.
Baldivino's rendition of "Mula Sa Puso" will be used as the theme song of ABS-CBN's remake of the series "Mula sa Puso" aired from 1997 to 1999.
The singer said that he was only 3 years old when he first sang the hit originally performed by Jude Michael.
"Kaya noong sinabi sa akin, nagulat ako, na-excite ako at pinag-aaralan ko, paulit-ulit," he said.
The new "Mula sa Puso" series will be top-billed by Lauren Young, JM de Guzman, and Enrique Gil.
It also stars Dawn Zulueta, Eula Valdes, Devon Seron, Helen Gamboa, and Ariel Rivera.
The much-anticipated series will be directed by the show's original director, Wenn V. Deramas.
